Testing Services

PAT Testing

We provide everything you would require to show any Insurance company or Health and Safety Inspector that you comply with you obligations with regards to maintaining your Portable Electrical Appliances.

• We will ensure mimimal distruption to you and your company and can therefore offer out of hours service at no extra charge.
• We will inspect and test (In accordance with IEE Code of Practice).
• We will change fuses (free of charge) where necessary
• We will re-wire plugs (free of charge) where necessary.
• We will change plug tops (free of charge) where necessary
• We will attach pass/fail labels to each item (free of charge)
• We will carry out minor cable repairs (free of charge) where necessary
• We advise the on site person in charge of any failures.

We will provide a detailed inventory (asset register) of all items tested, their location, tests carried out etc. This register can be tailored to suit your requirements and can be provided on paper, or a simple excel file and can be emailed as soon as the tests are downloaded from the PAT Testers.

Fixed Wire Installation Testing

We offer periodic inspection and testing in accordance with BS7671 (as amended). We produce computerised reports which can be emailed directly to you (or send a paper copy if required).

In effect most systems (commercial premises) require certifying every five years, however some premises may require shorter periods between testing.

We can combine Fixed Wire installation testing and PAT Testing to provide a very cost effective package.
